Canon Super 35 9.24 MP CMOS Sensor
The 6U9MRXSAAC is a Super 35 4K capable CMOS sensor with 4112 x 2248 effective pixels. The Super 35 sensor format allows for wider variety and more compact lensing options as opposed to larger full frame sensors while maintaining big pixel sizes creating a nice balance of resolution, sensitivity, and system size.
New Canon 19µm Pixel CMOS Sensor With Enhanced NIR Detection
By creating a pixel with a deeper well, photons with longer wavelengths can be more efficiently converted into electrons, providing a substantial increase in quantum efficiency (QE) in the Near Infra-Red region. Featuring 19um pixel sizes available in monochrome (35MMFHDXSBM) or with a specialized RGB-NIR color filter array (35MMFHDXSBI), this new family of Canon CMOS sensors allows for expanded possibilities in a wide range of applications requiring detection in the NIR spectrum.
Canon’s 2.8 MP CMOS Sensor For Challenging Environments
Features HDR Drive Function
To meet the high demands of complex lighting and harsh environments, Canon is developing a new CMOS sensor capable of delivering high-dynamic range (HDR) and high-image quality in adverse temperature conditions. Canon’s new 3U3MRXSAAC is a 2.8-megapixel, 1/2.32-inch CMOS sensor ideal for HDR imaging.
